Learn About Abbey Fatica: Owner of Living My MoMent

Living My MoMent was started in April of 2009 when I was trying to figure out a way to make some extra cash. I was a Stay at Home Mom to my daughter at the time and I really wanted to contribute somehow to our income. After searching online for many months, trying to come up products to sell and not being able to find anything that spoke to me, I had my AHA MoMent!
I was watching Oprah one day and she was doing a special on Mommy Bloggers and I had never really thought about Blogging as my profession, but I had seen that Heather from Dooce.com had made a decent amount of money and I thought why not give it try.
I did however, want to offer some kind of service to other MoMs and DaDs out there. Our country is in one of the worst recessions since the great depression and it’s hard to keep small businesses afloat let alone advertise for them. These types of businesses are usually hit the hardest when the economy is bad and I don’t want to see all of their efforts go to waste. So why not offer FREE ADVERTISING. And that’s what I do!
Living My MoMent is a great place to advertise your small business for FREE. We also do MoMreviews, MoMgiveaways, MoMFeatures, list MoMSpecials, MoMBlogs and MoMNews/Sales. See the trend!!!
I, of course, am a MoM! I live in Ohio with my husband, John -who by the way helped with the first Living My MoMent Webpage-, our 2 year old daughter, Luci and 6 month old son, Jacob -the inspirations for the site- and our 6 year old sheltie, Shelly -she could be Marley’s (from the movie Marley and Me) twin. Needless to say, our house is always on the brink of a frenzy.
If you have any suggestions, questions, ideas, comments or are a MoM or DaD with a business wanting space on Living My MoMent, please email Abbey for more information or check out our MoMAdvertising Prices page for all your options .

I met Abbey on the social networking site Mompreneur Cafe, where she approached me about the free advertising on her site, Living My MoMent. I’m always happy to find new ways in which to promote my business, and since placing a free ad for The Work at Home Woman, I have noticed an increase in my traffic from her site. Abbey is a pleasure to work with and she is doing a wonderful thing for moms by helping them to promote their businesses – Many Thanks, Holly Hanna
Sherri from Baby Huggables:
Wanted to say Thank you for all your hard work in designing a website, blog and twitter to really promote WAHM’s and our businesses.
I appreciate all your hard work, allowing me to place my business on your wonderful website for other parents to come and visit and shop from my online store.
Thank you for everything,
Sherri ♥
Joanne from AboutOne:
Thank you again – we really appreciate your support. I love your site and your concept because we are a bootstrapped start up, I left my corporate job after 13 years 3 months ago because I believe in the idea and I also wanted to spend more time with my four children. Although its exciting it is also nerve wracking, so getting support and positive comments from someone like yourself keeps me inspired to keep going.

Abbey, You are fabulous! Great job with the website I think it is a wonderful idea helping out and giving support. Keep it up…
