Every month, well wishers can fill out a simple form on the SlimyBookworm.com website nominating a school for this gift. The school with the most nominations wins – American Idol style. So the key to securing a win for a nominated school is to coax other people to vote for the same school.

The campaign was launched after the labor day weekend and it is gaining momentum among PTAs and school officials who are turning out record number of nominations for their schools by  having parents and other school officials turn in their votes.
