February 14th, 2011: Are you doing anything special for Valentine’s Day or spending the evening like us with the kids?
I have always liked Valentine’s Day. There have been several years that it has been a very momentous occasion or at least the days surrounding it.
Valentine's Day 2011
11 years ago: John told me that he loved me. We had been dating for about 2 months or so.
7 years ago: I went and picked up Shelly from the breeder and she was my Valentine’s Day gift that year from John.
4 years ago: We got our first house as husband and wife around Valentine’s Day and moved in!
3 years ago: I was impatiently waiting for a little girl to make her presence into this world. She didn’t actually show up until 5 days later. More on that later this week.
2 years ago: I found out that I was pregnant with Jake. Luci and I told John with a Big Sister shirt.
So although, I know that this year there will be nothing as exciting as any of these previous Valentine’s Days, I get to spend the day with all the people in the home that we have all made together on this special day.
