How Thanksgiving and Black Friday are completely different than last year! (1 comment)

What a difference a year makes! Can you believe that we are already into the Holiday Season? What was different about your life and/or your business one year ago today?

This time last year I was in the hospital eating crappy Thanksgiving food and wishing that I was home with my family. If you are new to Living My MoMent within the last year you are probably wondering what I was doing in the hospital and am I ok now?

I am not just ok, I’m great!! This particular visit to the hospital gave me one of the best Thanksgiving’s ever! My son Jake was born last year! He was actually due on December 5th, but decided that he was going to be our little Turkey baby. He reminds me every day about how thankful and grateful I am to be a mother to my kids. I just can’t believe that my little boy is one year old today!

Today as most of you are out shopping and hitting the stores for great sales, I am soaking it all in and celebrating Jake’s first birthday!

It’s has also given me time to reflect before the chaos of this holiday season ensues. One of the biggest times of year for us advertisers. On the business front, I have seen Living My MoMent grow in leaps and bounds and am so excited for what we have in store for next year. I can’t believe that in just 6 short weeks, I will start training my staff so that we can continue to help grow small businesses into bigger small businesses. This new chapter in my life is very exciting and I can’t wait to share this with all of you.

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and Black Friday and continue to have a great holiday weekend. Our party continues tomorrow as we watch Ohio State stomp on M*ch*g*n and then on Sunday with Jakey’s first birthday party. Thank you again for all your continued support! Without you, we wouldn’t have connected with so many great small businesses owner and avid readers of Living My MoMent!

And if you are a business owner, I hope your great Black Friday deals have you bringing in a tons of sales to boost your holiday!
