9/1/2010: I love summer because we are able to travel a lot more and explore new places that we have never been before. Now that I have two children, traveling has become a whole new experience for my family. I’m always looking for fun things to do with my kids but sometimes getting around these places can be somewhat of a hassle.
The question that always comes up is how are we going to transport the kids once we are in a building, like an aquarium or who is going to ride in what when we go for a hike along a creek. And it feels like any solution I come up with some sort of problem arises.
Now, as much as I like my double stroller for daily walks or my wagon for trips to the zoo, these two options are not always feasible when we got to places with smaller hallways housing more people. So then, I think well let’s take the umbrella stroller for my two year old, but what is my baby going to do. I tell you this, I’m not going to hold him the whole time we are somewhere. I don’t think my arms or back could take it, plus he’s very squirmy.
