What kid doesn’t like to snuggle up to their own blankie or night- night? My kids are so attached to theirs and I know that other kids loves theirs as well. Kristan from Texas started Hugs Included in 2010 to give her friends with babies a loving embrace from a hand-knit blanket that she had made.
After Kristan’s mom created a double-sided fleece blanket for her, she fell in love with the cozy embrace it gives her. “I also love my blanket because I know my mother sewed it just for me. Just as God knit us in the womb of our mother with perfect love for us (Psalm 139:13).”
Each blanket measures an average of 5′ x 3′ (depends on the cut from the fabric store) and the two sides (a pattern and a complementing solid) are hand-stitched with a blanket stitch.
