Are you afraid that your child is going to forget everything they learned in school this year over summer break? DaDs, Andrew (DaD to 2) and Rohit from Massachusetts started TenMarks Education in 2009 when they were searching for a better way to help students achieve their potential in math, and supplement and enrich their classroom learning.

A pioneer in on-demand math learning, TenMarks makes supplemental math education accessible, effective and affordable. The TenMarks approach to learning math improves student achievement by instilling confidence and motivation, helping students build 21st century skills. TenMarks believes in promoting greater achievement on a national level, and that every child irrespective of their school, state or socioeconomic status deserves the opportunity to build a stronger foundation in math.

Students, parents and teachers often struggle to find a way to supplement classroom math instruction that is effective, convenient and affordable, and will actually be used by students. Andrew and Rohit knew that in order to reach and engage students, they would need to leverage technology and media in a way that is consistent with how they interact with information everyday.
The company believes improving student performance in math is important for our country to remain competitive in the global economy. TenMarks also believes that every child, irrespective of their school, state or socio-economic status deserves the opportunity to build a strong foundation in math, and the company is working with organizations to help close the achievement gap. I posted on TenMarks (http://www.pragmaticmom.com/?p=9189) and recommended it to a colleague at work. She reported back that her daughter LOVED it and would do 5 worksheets at a time when she only needed to complete 1. The worksheets are like online games! I love a math success story! Did you have good luck with it for your kids?
