April 5th, 2010: I feel like I am constantly picking pacifiers of the ground (yes, I was careful not to call it the “B- Word” cause apparently there is a patent on that word) and sometimes I rinse them off sometimes I don’t. But it would be nice not have to worry about dropping it at all. To my delight, Rhett from Templeton’s Timeless Infant Silver offered to let me do a review on their classic Heirloom Bijou Bracelet.
The bracelet is great because it allows for the pacifier to attach to the baby’s clothes to prevent it from falling but once your child is done with “the bink” she is able to wear it because the holder converts to a bracelet for mom, daughter, daughter-in-law, or the like, thus creating a family heirloom and a wonderful tradition for your family to treasure. The Heirloom Bijou Bracelets come in many different colors and are handmade by the Templeton’s themselves. I love this item because it is both practical and a keepsake all in one! It is something that your baby can use from infancy all the way up to when they have their own kids and can pass it on to them!
We used it this past weekend in a long car trip down to visit my MoM because I hate having to climb through the van (which probably isn’t safe, anyways) to retrieve the fallen pacifier. My daughter only uses it for naps and bedtime, but this is great for us in the car because she is old enough now where she can pick it up herself if it falls to her lap.
