April 5th, 2010: Everyone has a preference when it comes to which way the toilet paper should roll. It might not have ever donned on you but it’s there. Imagine it’s 3 am and you can’t even open your eyes and you can’t find the end of the toilet paper so that you can get back to bed. Now you have gotten frustrated and this problem has woken you up. And now you’re getting madder that someone put the toilet paper roll on the wrong way. So now you have figured out your preference.
In our house, I am all ROLL OVER and my husband is all ROLL UNDER. I am always aware when he puts the toilet paper on the roll. It makes me even more aware that the toilet paper is facing under when the kids are running around or crying. Luckily, this is not a huge issue in our house, because more often than not, I’m the one who is replacing the roll so I can put the toilet paper anyway I want. Of course, I win out every time cause if I see it facing the wrong way, then I turn it around the proper direction.
Apparently, I’m not the only person in America who believes that OVER is better, because the Cottonelle is over and OVER won. I love that I got to write a post about my toilet paper preferences cause wouldn’t you know that pee and poop are huge topics of discussion in our house. From the kids’ diapers to the dog’s business, I don’t think our family could go a day without talking about our bodily functions. So thank you Cottonelle for this great debate on whether to roll over or under, otherwise I would not get to talk about one of my favorite subjects.
