Weighing In On Wednesday: Incorporating Exercise into Daily Routine (0 comments)

This week has been busy with lots of giveaways and new ventures with the business. I also got to go shopping which I haven’t done in awhile. I did have to take the baby with me, but he’s easy cause he doesn’t touch anything. Luci’s 2nd birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and although we really don’t need more toys, I got her just a few things and a new outfit for the occasion. Her and Jake are getting their pictures taken this week, so we have to look snazzy for the photo shoot. I’m excited for this because I have never had someone come to my house to take our pictures. I hope she doesn’t mind the mess. I will try and clean up as best as I can, but the toys somehow seem to emerge from nowhere.

Goal #1: Lose the Baby Weight and Get Healthy

This week’s goal was to set a timer for 5 minutes if I was craving something sweet or salty, wait it out and then see if I was still hungry. I also got myself something to drink in the meantime to help curb some of the “hunger.” Yeah, well this method apparently doesn’t work for me, cause even after the 5 or even 10 minutes I still wanted something to eat. I am, however doing really well on the portion control, so although I would get myself a snack it wasn’t a big as it normally would be.

With that being said I didn’t lose anymore weight in a week, but that’s ok cause I didn’t gain anything either. I’m almost down 30 pounds of baby weight with only 5 more to go from just this past pregnancy. Then it’s onto my next goal of getting rid of the extra 5 from Luci.

This week’s new goal is to start incorporating exercise in the form of strength training into my daily activity. I have one of those exercise bands with handles that I am going to try and do for at least 5 minutes everyday. I know I can do this cause it’s only 5 minutes. I just can’t wait till the weather gets warmer so that I can start walking and take the kids with me.

Goal #2: Work on the Book

I got a few responses from my query about getting pregnant while breastfeeding that I am going to add to my book. I’m very excited to add other people’s experiences, so this week I am posing the question… Please share any stories that you may have with having trouble getting pregnant the second time around and having an easy time for your first. If you have a story in this area, I would love to hear it and you are more than welcome to email me at livingmymoment@gmail.com

Goal #3: Build the Business

4 giveaways are ending this week and we have gotten a great response and it’s even helped my alexa rating drop to 261,000. That’s the lowest that it has ever been which is great because that means I’m getting more readers.

Over the course of this week, Holly (from The Work at Home Woman) have collaborated on yet another project. Both being big fans of the show Shark Tank, we have decided to work with some of the participants of the show and throw a Twitter Party with the discussion and prizes being from those who have been on the show! This party will be held Friday, February 12th at 9PM ET. Stay tuned for the posting on who to follow and the hashtag that we will be using! Please join us in our kahoots during Shark Tank next week. OH and I am so excited to provide advertising for Grill Charms and SendaBall, both of whom were on the show!
