As I’m sitting here writing this post, I know it is better to do this early than tomorrow, especially if there is a slight possibility that I could be at the hospital. I wanted to make sure that I got to wish everyone a Happy and Yummy Thanksgiving.
In Prep, for this year’s Thanksgiving, which I am hosting ( yes I realize that I could have this baby any day) I have started to bake and do prep work so that if I do end up in the hospital it will be easy for the other people to just come in and take over. Judging from my last pregnancy and being two days late, I was pretty sure that there was going to be no baby 7-10 days early. But…today when I went in for my doctor’s appointment, she told me that she would be surprised to see me at my next appointment scheduled for a week from now. This now gives me a new sense of hope that this baby might decide that he/she is hungry for Turkey.
Yeah for forward progress. When she checked me she told me that I was still 80% effaced but am now definitely 4cm. I just don’t understand how I’m walking around being 4cm without a kid just waiting to fall out of me. I know that 4cm isn’t that much but with Luci, I went from 3cm to 7cm, so I’m not quite sure about this 4cm stage.
To All of you out there, now that I’ve discussed my dilation and effaced, ENJOY your food. I am very thankful for all your support and the support of my family as well. Be Well Everyone and Eat lots of yummy food to prep yourself for all that Black Friday Shopping!
