REVIEW – Spa Time Baby Far Out Floral Cape
October 5, 2009 – Bath time at our house is like Monsoon season in Far East Asia. I have to take for cover every time I see Luci’s hands raise up to splash down what seems like buckets of water. Usually by the end of the 15-20 minute session, I’m soaked and either have to change my clothes or suffer for the rest of the night in cold, wet clothes. The other day we received a Spa Time Baby Cape in their Far Out Floral design to review and I was more than thrilled to check this out. First off, it comes wrapped up like a little present in a great carrying bag. Then when you unwrapped it, it is a nice, large cape that can cover most of mom’s body (even this one with a pregnant belly).
When it was bath time, I got my cape on and was excited to see that when I sat down on the ground it not only covered my shirt and my pants but since I usually sit cross-legged on the floor it also covered up my socks. How great this is going to be. I let Luci just go to town and when the bath was all said and done I was dry and could just scoop her up out of the water and wrap her in the towel itself. It’s protection for mom and a towel for Luci all in one!!! Another great feature is that it doesn’t have long arm that can get soaked in the tub when you are washing the baby. So you stay dry the entire time and don’t have to worry about being wet at all.
