Everyone needs a pick-me- up now and again! What better way to do that then with a ball! MoMs and Sisters, Michele (MoM of 4) and Melisa (MoM of 3) from Illinois started Send a Ball in 2003 but have been sending balls to family and friends since 1996 and have been rolling ever since.
How did it start? One of the first balls they sent was “have a ball with your new baby”, the response was so overwhelming they did it again and again. A few years later while standing in line at the post office with balls, they were approached by an elderly man that asked about the balls and asked if they could send a ball to a friend who was ill, they said ok and it made him smile. After that Send a Ball took off and is now sending out balls to people all over with sayings for Get Wells, New Babies, Love, New Home and More.
