REVIEW – The Power of Two from The Friendship Stone

October 6th, 2009: Friendship is a very important part of human nature. Recently, I got The Power of Two from the ladies at The Friendship Stone. It comes with two stones, two pouches, one card and a story of The Friendship Stone. Upon receiving the stones, I was unsure of who I was going to give my stone away to but Shari from The Friendship Stone shared this story that helped me make my decision:

“Today I had the great pleasure of watching my daughter give The Friendship Stone to the man who sweeps the streets in our neighborhood! Every morning my 5 year old says “good morning ” to him.  I think that he is in shock that we do….but I have explained to my MJ what an important job he has – and she thinks he is great.  As you know we just celebrated The Jewish New Year.  We often give gifts to those closest to us.  She decided to give this lovely man (he must be around 65) a friendship stone! She told him all about it and that it is a reminder for him to keep positive even if it is raining when he works !  leave it to a 5 year old!”

Kids are so innocent and they love giving things away to unknowing people. So I decided that after reading her story about how her daughter gave away someone close to her, I wanted to do the same. My sister recently started college this year and it’s really her first time away from home for such a long period of time. I wanted to give her a friendship stone so that even when she is having a bad day or wants to give up she can always remember that I am right there for her. I knew that this would make her happy and remind her that she does have a lot of people out there who love and support her!

Thanks to the Ladies from the Friendship Stone who shared with us the ability of the stone to change with the rays of light as an important message for how one chooses to view life and friendship.
