REVIEW – My Life…A Chronicle of the Journey by Frittabello
October 8th, 2009: Just the other day I was thinking about how at this point during my first pregnancy I had already started a baby book and was well on my way to getting a lot of info already put in there. But this time around seemed like a whole other story cause all I have so far is ultrasound pictures. Woo Hoo, that’s it?!? And then my answer came in the form of My Life…A Chronicle of the Journey from Frittabello. They were so kind to send me their baby journal to review and as soon as I got it I started writing things down.
I love writing about my family history for my kids and what their lives were like before they were actually here. This journal is great because in each section there is tons of room to write down information about events that have happened. This is very important when you are journaling about Baby’s Firsts. I have found in other baby books that there is just one line to provide all the data for that event and that’s it. Well, where do you write the story about what happened during this milestone? These are very pertinent points in your child’s history and they should know the story behind it and with this book you can do so.
Another great feature is that there are several pages in each section where you aren’t tied down to certain milestones and moments that the author has put into the journal. You have free reign to write about whatever pops up for that day. So like if you want to chronicle about Baby’s First Step you are able to do that but can also put down obscure things like Baby’s First Poop (they definitely wouldn’t put that in a baby book). You can also give your relatives a place to write down their thoughts and memories in the book as well as put in pictures of special occasions.
Being able to use this book through age 5 will give you the opportunity to document any events all the way up through Kindergarten.
Thanks to Jen from Frittabello who has produced a baby journal that my second child will be able to treasure for a lifetime. At this point, I can’t wait till my little one arrives so that I can fill out more!!!
