I would like to try the Short o sorting mats. Any practice with vowels is great. Are you planning to make centers for the other vowels as well?

I would choose “Read, Write and Glue” Sight Word Center. This would give students practice with their sight words.

I would choose any of the sight word centers. I teach 1st grade–sight words are a real push to help them become successful readers!

I would use the sight words, my son is just starting to learn his letters and sounding out small words.

I would choose the Bang! or any other sight word center. I teach first grade and as you know, they don’t get far without knowing their sight words!

I wouls choose the Read, Write, and Glue Center because it would be a great addition to my classroom in helping my preschoolers to identify their alphabet letters. This would be a great small group activity to do with the kids to see who can recognize and name letters. This would not only be a great activity to use in the classroom but also a great assessment tool as well.

I would pick any of the short vowel sorting mats. I teach first grade and the e and i word families are harder for the students to distinguish the vowel sounds in. I would use it to reinforce the vowel families following instruction.
